After exchanging his pursuit of sports in favor of dance, Tracy went on to earn a BFA in Dance at Southwest Missouri State University and was awarded a MFA in Dance from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro. At SMSU, Tracy performed in two award winning dances, earned a scholarship to the Craft of Choreography Conference and won the Award for Versatility which recognized excellence in all areas of dance.
